Electrical Safety Inspection for Landlords (EICR) in Glasgow & Surrounding areas. All electrical installations deteriorate with age and use. It is therefore important that they are inspected and tested at regular intervals to determine whether they are in a satisfactory condition for continued use. In 2015 the Scottish Government introduced new legislation for landlords. It requires them to ensure that regular electrical safety inspections are carried out on properties they own. An inspection must be carried out:- Before a new tenancy starts During the tenancy, at intervals of no more than five years from the date of the previous inspection.
